The BriefTo promote Bradford’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme, aimed at identifying individuals within the Bradford district considering self-employment as an alternative to either their current job, worklessness, redundancy, retirement, or even as a straight-from-school option. The Solutionthisischemistry found a wealth of resources available to budding entrepreneurs but felt that its sheer breadth was confusing. We rapidly developed a single umbrella brand to represent the entire resource bank. Bradford Kickstart was devised and launched in record time. The ResultsThe Kickstart brand has given the LEGI programme a single, approachable “face” for the target audiences and has allowed the many support agencies to operate under it with ease. So far, over 400 new businesses have been established.
