The Brief

Clough and Co are Chartered Accountants and Business advisors operating from two West Yorkshire offices at Cleckheaton and Keighley offering accountancy and business consultancy services to owner managed and family owned businesses. We were tasked with finding a way to help online users understand the expertise available from Clough specialist departments in an accessible, meaningful manner. The site had to be easy to navigate and compelling in its visual elements as well as being unusually information rich.

The Solution

Having undertaken a detailed competitor review brand review with the team at Clough we created a series of visuals for the site that we then refined with the management team. The website build was entirely bespoke and uses our PHP based Content Management System. Our CMS is designed to be secure, exceptionally easy to update and edit. Search engine optimising is both easy to manage and to implement as the site is designed to be as ‘Google Friendly as possible. We created a series of short videos for the website which feature on the services pages and help communicate a more rounded view of the company to prospective clients. A series of ‘feeds’ supplies up-to-date news, views and comment to the site ensuring that it is always relevant.

The Results

The website now fully complements the Clough Brand and has been well received both internally and externally and whilst its early days we’re looking forward to looking at the Google statistics to see how the site usage has changed.
