Corus

Design and Advertising, Latest work No Comments

The Brief

Corus required a document to effectively direct readers to useful resources and guidance concerning the use of steel and highlighting where they can access more detailed information. The document was to function as both a handout and mailing piece. As with all Corus work, a robust implementation of the brand guidelines was essential.

The Solution

Steel Essentials booklet is primarily aimed at engineers new to the construction industry and provides them with information on key industry topics. The secondary audience is the wider construction industry: Established engineers, Architects, Fabricators. The booklet incorporates stylish mono illustrations and is bound in a matt black cover accented by the subtle use of metallic ink.

The Results

The booklet communicates with quiet authority the position of Corus, BCSA and SCI as authorities within the steel construction industry. Supported by an accompanying website that hosts a similar level of information and links to Internet resources and publications.
