The BriefIn recent years the bathroom interiors market has been cannibalised due to a significant increase in the number of online sales and the cutting of margins by online retailers. In response to this, Clearwater decided to completely change its business model moving away from dealing directly with retailers and instead creating a UK network of Distributors. thisischemistry was commissioned to re-launch Clearwater, its new business model and redefine its brand accentuating the technology advances, design innovations and business benefits for Clearwater stockists. The Solutionthisischemistry devised a radical brand overhaul focusing on Clearwater’s core values. And developed a comprehensive distributor sales strategy. We created a brand toolkit including tone of voice, brand values and marketing plan. Our team then developed an e-commerce site based on our famously easy to use CMS with its own dealer-locator system. PR support to retail and trade titles has been implemented. We also created a 34-page full colour brochure for distribution in retail bathroom showrooms to drive consumer sales and eye-catching point of sale material. The ResultsFollowing the implementation of our strategy Clearwater has seen a significant increase in the number of enquires and a large amount of pre-orders from distributors who have responded well to the new pricing strategy that protects them and their retailers.
