Now a permanent member of the Chemistry team, Ray has worked with both founding partners on a consultancy basis for over 7 years. Ray’s working life began in the marketing department of a world-class ethical pharmaceutical company, from where he then launched an agency-side career.

His background embraces over 25 years in the marketing communications sector for many major “branded” advertising agencies including Publicis and Lowe Howard-Spink. It has also spanned all disciplines from above-the-line advertising through database and direct marketing to CRM and e-CRM/online marketing across such blue-chip brands as Crown Paints & Wallcoverings, Imperial Tobacco, Rothmans, BAT, The Fiat Group (inc Alfa Romeo), BMW, General Motors/Vauxhall, Hewlett-Packard and Apple Computers.

Ray’s experience also embraces promotional marketing through time spent with, amongst others, IMP, KLP and Triangle – three of the UK’s biggest sales promotion consultancies.

Ray has held board positions at a number of these agencies and as a result now has the breadth of experience and gravitas to advise clients at all levels, from simple deliverables programmes to complex, multinational, strategic campaigns.
