Chemistry chosen for PCT ‘Choice’ task.
Date: 25/06/2008
Chemistry have been working with Bradford & Airedale PCT on their latest health promotion initiative.
Now, when patients are referred to hospital by their GP, they can choose to go anywhere in England where care is funded by the NHS. Factors that may influence their choice of hospital include:
- Personal experience of a particular hospital
- Location – whether it’s easy to get to, close to work or near to family and friends
- Reputation
- The hygiene standards and low MRSA infection rates
- Waiting times
- Good parking and disabled facilities
- Where quality of care has been rated highly.
The “Hospital Choice” campaign, featuring illustrations specially
created by Chemistry, have symmetry with national campaign themes and
styles. The illustrations will be running on the buses in Bradford and
Airedale from May 12th as part of a campaign to let local people know
about the choices on offer to them.
