We were delighted to be working with our Client Stagecoach Bus on a 2-year UK wide Internal Communications programme called “Ecodriver”.Ecodriver represents a multi-million pound investment in “hi-tech eco-driving” technology across 6500 buses and around 15000 drivers. The technology supplied by greenroad.co.uk is primarily aimed at increasing passenger comfort, reducing emissions and fuel consumption.

Our mission was to provide launch the scheme to drivers staff in depots throughout the UK. We were to introduce their new ‘eco driver champions’, communicate the reasons behind the introduction of the scheme including benefits to drivers and users of the Stagecoach bus fleet. As with all internal communications tasks there was a need to minimise negative speculation and present the benefits of the system in a clear and unambiguous manner.
We developed a whole suite of campaign materials including bespoke eco-driver pin boards (using 100% recycled materials of course), a range of posters, leaflets and a pocket sized 64pp booklet to provide a reference material for the training sessions, explain the incentive scheme,  and provide answers to commonly asked questions as well as reassurance as to the intentions of the scheme.

The reaction to the launch of Ecodriver has been extremely pleasing with staff in depots throughout the UK reacting positively to the introduction of the new hardware and significant savings in fuel and CO2 being recorded
