We snapped up Maddy, the newest addition to the Chemistry team, in November. With a BA (hons) in Visual Communication from Leeds College of Art and bags of experience in freelance, in-house and agency design positions, Maddy has an illustrator’s appreciation of what constitutes a great layout and a love of design as a craft that transcends the mundane.
Seldom parted from her graphics tablet, Maddy is qualified on Mac OS X, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and QuarkXpress. As well being creative using a computer, Maddy is passionate about being creative away from the computer, with interests in photography, sewing and screen-printing. Show her a nice piece of design and she’s sure to squirrel it away in a scrapbook somewhere.
