The Brief:
Scrutons flowers are wholesale florists based in Leeds and serving the North East.
Whilst well established company they felt that the lack of a strong web presence was holding them back. They were keen to show by being one of the very first floristry wholesalers to offer e-commerce to their clients. A radical step that increased their range to over 9000 products.

The Solution:
We used an organic motif for the site, taking care to make navigation as user friendly as possible. An ecommerce facility was created and a video intro on the home page clearly explained Scruton’s offer and invited exploration. A high quality content management system (CMS) allows Scrutons to update the site as often as they like.

The Results:
Md Nick Scruton said “Aside from some ribbing from clients and friends about my video appearance the feedback has been very positive. The website really shows clients how much more we can offer compared to their existing suppliers”. He added “Chemistry were very proactive in dealing with the funding and development teams at Aire Valley and Business link”.
