The Brief:
Kickstart, Bradford’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme, is aimed at identifying individuals in the Bradford district considering self-employment. Chemistry was briefed to design a mid-term report that would provide central government in Whitehall with a progress update.

The Solution:
Much of the content was empirical – graphs and charts of what’s been spent where and how effective the programme has been. We wanted to avoid a “dry” document and looked for ways to express the warmth and personality of the Kickstart initiative.

The Results:
A simple, eye catching layout that combined the necessary data and statistics with real-life case studies of businesses that the Kickstart team has helped to establish – giving warmth and approachability to what might otherwise have been a bland statistical report.
